What the site does today

• The enquiry form is switched off. Nothing typed into the form on the planning page is saved or sent.
• Analytics only if you say yes. When you arrive, a banner asks whether we may use Google Analytics. Nothing from Google loads before you choose. If you choose "Allow analytics", Google Analytics counts your visit and sets cookies in your browser (their names start with _ga), and we ask Google to anonymise your IP address. Google Analytics sends Google information about your visit, such as the pages you view, your browser and device, and your approximate location. If you choose "No thanks", or don't answer, Google Analytics doesn't load.
• You can change your mind. "Cookie settings" at the foot of every page reopens the choice. If you later choose "No thanks", analytics stops loading the next time you open the site. Cookies already set aren't deleted; you can clear them in your browser settings.
• Your choice is kept in your browser. It is stored in your browser's local storage on your own device and isn't sent to us. The site itself sets no cookies.
• The first page you open. To learn which pages bring couples who enquire, the site notes in your browser tab (session storage) the first page you opened, any "ref" or "UTM" tag in its address, and the name of the website that sent you here. It stays in that tab, isn't sent anywhere, and goes when you close the tab.
• Photos and fonts. The site loads no photos or fonts from other companies. Its pictures are drawn on the page itself, and the text uses your device's own fonts.
• Links out. Source links open the resort's or the authority's own site, which has its own privacy policy. If a link goes to a partner we work with, we say so where it appears.
